Your participation in the 2009 Race and the Dick's Sporting Goods Pledge Program will help provide the necessary funding for education, screening and treatment programs to fight breast cancer in your region. Sleep-In for the Cure® This new participation option allows you to register and raise pledges, in support of the Pittsburgh Affiliate, from the comfort of your bed on Race Day. This is the perfect solution for those who aren't morning people or are planning to be out of town on May 10, 2009. Those registered for this option will receive one extra large specially designed Sleep-In for the Cure t-shirt, one snooze bib and a little something extra to make your restful morning complete. When selecting this option you can continue to support a team of your choice. Breast cancer survivors registering with this option will also receive one pink Survivor t-shirt and pink cap.
Disposable Timing-Chips for Competitive Runners New for the 2009 Race, disposable timing chips will be provided to all competitive runners. These chips will be attached to your bib. No need to stand in long lines Race day morning.
