Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is dedicated to perpetuating the Susan G. Komen story, promise and voice by providing access to education, mammograms and screenings, advocacy and hope, and by serving as a breast health information leader.  The Pittsburgh Affiliate is honored to be working closely with National Komen, so that we may bring  you the latest information about breast cancer. 

Why are we dedicated to keeping this promise?
Because hundreds of thousands of Americans - including many in our local community - will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.    With survivors and activists in 125 cities and communities, more than 100 Komen Race for the Cure® events in the United States and three International Affiliates, Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the most progressive grassroots organization fighting breast cancer today.

2010 Komen Pittsburgh Grant Program - Applications Now Being Accepted
The Pittsburgh Affiliate is proud to announce the availability of grant funds for the calendar year 2010.  Applications for breast cancer and breast health programs from nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies and educational institution in our 30 county service  area  are eligible for funding.
