Grant Funding Opportunities from the Pittsburgh Affiliate

The Komen Pittsburgh Affiliate is proud to announce the availability of grant funds for 2011. Grants will be made to support efforts to reduce breast cancer disparities in the 30 county service area in western and central Pennsylvania (Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Mifflin, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland counties).

Rally for the Cure® is a grassroots program that works to spread awareness about
breast health and breast cancer in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

Volunteer event "Ambassadors" host and plan the events locally. Rally provides all
the materials to support the event including event decorations, a prize, participant
goody bags and other breast cancer awareness items. It is that simple!
